How do I get a quote?
Just call us…we have 5 lines waiting, or email us at info@xpandasecuritygates.com and our people are experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful
Is there a local dealer seller?
In some cities we have both, but in today’s economic times dealers do not want to stock inventory, therefore we can supply quicker than most. with installer technicians in almost every major city in the US. We can look after your security needs quickly.
How long is the delivery time?
The gates are usually as stock item, so basically 2 to 7 days depending on where you are located.
Shutters and curtains can be 2 to 4 weeks due to custom manufacture requirements, drawing approvals, etc.
Can I use 1 gate to span my 20’ storefront?
No, we ship in modules to keep the weights reasonable for shipping and installation purposes. But more than that, our experience is too wide a gate loses its strength.
Are the locks built on or loose padlock type?
Xpanda prides itself in supplying built on locks, Our SLAM locks secure the brass lock body in a steel shroud and are covered with a clean plastic molded handle wheels etc on all its products. Our door locks are even changeable to your existing door cylinder style for better key control.
Should I install inside the store or outside?
Inside is recommended as that is where your motion and sound sensors are…there is generally no alarm system outside, so thieves would have all night to work on defeating the locks, etc
But if I put them inside, won’t they still break my glass?
Experience of over 38 years has taught us that , NO, they probably won’t as the visual deterrent factor is so high they’ll go break in down the street where it isn’t so much trouble!
How much will the system cost?
It depends on dimensions, application, and the system you choose. But in the end, whatever the cost, it will be less than lost inventory, replacement glass costs, aluminum framing repair, etc.
Why are shutters and curtains, so much more expensive then gates?
Basically it comes down to material…aluminum is more costly then steel….and due to the way these 2 products function they need to be partially custom manufactured; there is no such thing as an “off the shelf” shutter or curtain.
Where are you located?
We are in both Ohio and Toronto; perfectly situated to handle all of North America, the islands, and Mexico.
We have technicians in most major , and some rural areas across the US and Canada.
Can I install them myself?
In most cases with scissor gates, yes. Shutters and curtains are best left to contractors.
What should I use, gates, shutters, or curtains?
It’s a function of adaptability, return on investment, and application. Call us and we’ll be glad to discuss all the options with you. 1-800-835-0214
